Suggested Time: 10 minutes or more in a quiet place
Items: Pen or something to write with, Paper
Ages: All Ages
Assess what self-care activities are best for you by writing them down.
- Take 10 minutes to yourself. Find a quiet place. Get a pen and paper to jot down ideas.
- Imagine that you have the day all to yourself. No kids, no work, no errands to run, no chores, no deadlines to meet…
- What would be the first thing you would do for yourself? What would be the second and third?
- What gives you peace?
- Write these things down.
Burnout is a real thing. If you are not proactive with self-care, it will not happen. A great place to start is to make this list.
